Dr. N. Premjit Singh is an accomplished energy and climate professional with extensive expertise in renewable energy systems, greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation, and carbon market mechanisms. He brings over 10 years of experience working with Designated Operational Entities (DOEs) under the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and other international carbon standards, along with more than five years of research and hands-on experience in renewable energy projects and energy audits. Dr. Singh holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai, India.His doctoral research focused on the design and development of a square parabolic dish system integrated with a concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) module for enhanced performance. He also earned an M.Tech in Energy Technology from Tezpur University, Napaam, India, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NERIST, Nirjuli, India. He has worked extensively on validation and verification of GHG mitigation projects and Programmes of Activities (PoAs) under internationally recognized standards including UNFCCC CDM, VCS, Gold Standard, GS4GG, GCC and ICR. His technical expertise covers Sectoral Scope 1.2 (Renewable Energy) and Sectoral Scope 3.1 (Energy Demand). Dr. Singh is a qualified Lead Auditor, Validator, Verifier, Technical Expert (SS/TA 1.2/1.1 and 3.1), and Technical Reviewer.
